Ultra Fine Ceramic Stones
We have a selection of Ultra Fine Grade Ceramic Stones grades ideal for high precision finishing.
Stones measure 1 x 1 x 100mm
They come in 3 grades
Yellow 1500g
Cream 2000g
Pink 3000g
These stones fit a very specific holder, the CH1 hand held holder.
You could use alone but the stones may break with pressure, a holder prevents this and makes them a lot easier to use.
Not all sides of the stone are abrasive, just the dressed face. By this we mean that the stone needs to be filed to reveal the abrasive fibres which run down the stone.
For Jewellers
We have had a lot of interest in very fine polishing grade stones and can now offer them with a suitable holder. If you like our superstones, these stones are exactly the same just a slightly different size and grit. It’s unusual to get a tool so fine in such as small size. The ceramic material is very hard and doesn’t wear quickly. This means it keeps its shape for a good long time.
You may also be interested in rotary ceramic stones which don’t go up as fine but are extremely handy when used with a pendant drill or micromotor. These can be sharpened to a very fine point also with a diamond file.
