Small Tapered Mandrels
Mandrels used for holding mops and wheels for polishing. Mops and wheels can be easily, quickly and safely wound onto the mandrel and then placed into a drill or rotary tool for a quick easy and efficient way to use polishing mops and nylon wheels.
We offer these mandrels on a 2.35mm (3/32″) spindle size and also a 1/8″ spindle size. Check your collet – if using a chuck system this won’t matter.
This is a cheaper way to use small wheels where individually mounted tools are sometimes more expensive. Ideal for holding rubber bonded wheels and small felts for metal polishing.

This mandrel is suitable for jewellers as it is a small scale taper ideal for small felts etc and is on a 2.35mm spindle (3/32”).
