Deburring wheels
Also known as convolute wheels are excellent for finishing and cleaning up all metals. The wheels are like a compressed scotchbrite material which are excellent for deburring and cleaning they also leave a very smooth slightly sateen finish.

Deburring wheels are available in silicon carbide and aluminium oxide
Silicon Carbide – sharper cut and shiny finishÂ
SVF- Very Fine
SF- Fine
SM- Medium
Aluminium Oxide – softer cutting duller finishÂ
AF- Fine
AM- Medium
AC- Coarse
Densities from 10 (hardest)- 2 (softest)
Harder densities suit harder metals such as Steel and Titanium
Middle densities such as 7 and 8 are best for deburring softer Steels and alloys
Softer densities 4-2 for wood and plastics
9SF is most widely used on steels
7SF is used on steel and aluminium
Uses for deburring wheels:
Used for deburring all types of metal. Removes scratches, burrs, rust, smoothes ready for polishing. Used with a bench polisher.
Go for the standard option with no felt centre for fitting straight onto the shaft/arbour.Add a felt centre to use with a taper/pigtail.
Moleroda do stock a large range of these wheels both silicon carbide and aluminium oxide wheels in 2 to 10 densities (2 being very soft for plastics, wood and veneer work) to 10 being very hard for titanium and stainless steels. please send us an email or give us a call.
