Ceramic Stone holders<\/h2>\n

Ceramic stone holders to suit\u00a0Ultra-Fine Ceramic stone<\/a>s which\u00a0are commonly used for precision polishing.<\/p>\n

They come in a range of grits and sizes.<\/p>\n

Ceramic polishing stones are very popular with mould tool polishing and precision polishing, particularly\u00a0for slots and tight angles on mould tool steel.<\/p>\n

There are two types of holders:<\/p>\n

Ceramic Stone Holders – Hand Holders<\/h2>\n

Ceramic stones can be used like a file by hand – Moleroda supplies 4 different Size holders for the 4 different size stones:<\/p>\n

CH2 Holder – for ceramic stones sizes : \u00a00.5mm thick x 2mm wide \u00a0x 100mm long \u00a0and 1 x 2 x 100mm<\/p>\n

CH4 Holder – for ceramic stones sizes : \u00a00.5 x 4 x 100 and 1 x 4 x 100 and 1.5 x 4 x 100mm<\/p>\n

CH6 Holder – for ceramic stones sizes : \u00a00.5 x 6 x 100 and 1 x 6 x 100 and 1.5 x 6 x 100mm<\/p>\n

CH10 Holder – for ceramic stones sizes : \u00a01 x 10 x 100 and 1.5 x 10 x 100mm<\/p>\n

Ceramic Stone Holders – Machine\u00a0Holders<\/h2>\n

Ceramic stones are commonly used in Ultrasonic machines for mould tool polishing. For this, you should use the tool appropriate for the ultrasonic machine. Reciprocators\u00a0such as Air Lappers<\/a>, Diprofil <\/a>and other automatic filing tools are very popular with ceramic stones.<\/p>\n

Moleroda machine stone holders are on a 3mm spindle so can be mounted in most machines. We offer three sizes:<\/p>\n

CSH6 \u00a0– for 6mm wide stones<\/p>\n

CSH10 \u00a0– for 10mm wide stones<\/p>\n

For Engineers<\/h2>\n

Hand holders are essential for using ceramic stones by hand. This is a really popular tool combination for hand finishing mould tools, for getting into intricate parts and tight spots.<\/p>\n

Machine holders are designed for use with reciprocators\u00a0such as Air Lappers<\/a>, Diprofil <\/a>and other automatic filing tools. Please contact us if you need further advice.<\/p>\n

For Jewellers<\/h2>\n

The smaller stones and holders are most popular for small scale work, the CH2 and CH4 are most commonly chosen with the corresponding stones.
