Mops and abrasive wheels can then be wound into the tapers and can be used like a polisher.<\/p>\n<p>We Sell these tapes in two sizes 12mm and 16mm this is the diameter of the arbour which sticks out of the bench grinder or the internal diameter of the taper. You need to select the diameter you require and if you want a left or a right side taper.<\/p>\n<p>What&#8217;s special about them? These Special Tapers have a hole in the end of them so they can fit a mounted mop \/ felt or abrasive in the end. The mounted point is then simply tightened with a grub screw to securely hold it in place. This allows very detailed work to be done. Having the mounted point in the bench grinder means you have both hands to hold the item you are working on. It also means you don&#8217;t have to keep changing tools all the time.
