Proxxon Flexible Shaft
Proxxon proxxon Flexible Shaft 110/P is used for converting Proxxon micromotors into flexible shaft systems.
The Proxxon tools are generally quite large to hold. This flexible shaft has a small pencil type handpiece which is far easier to hold and makes the tools far more suited to detail work.
Supplied with collets 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.35mm, 3mm and 3.2mm
Length 1000mm.
Features two ball bearings in the light aluminium handpiece and one in the drive end to prevent tool bit chatter.
For Jewellers
Often jewellers start off with a hobby tool like the Proxxon. This flexible shaft makes the micromotors much better suited to small detail work.
The alternative to this set up would be an LY128 or a Strong Micromotor These will be stronger and have better longevity.
